How to improve overall employee engagement


While it’s not exactly easy to energize a disengaged workforce, it can be done. It is key to have in a business like Luv 2 Play. Across the brand, it is one of our sticky issues. How to get employees to engage and retain the ones that do. Here are some ways to boost employee engagement:


  • Offer opportunities for growth and development. Employees who feel stuck in a dead-end job are less likely to be engaged. Offer training and development programs to help employees progress in their careers.


  • Recognize and reward employees for their efforts. A little recognition can go a long way in boosting employee morale. Show your appreciation for a job well done with verbal praise, awards or other forms of recognition.


  • Promote open communication between management and staff. Employees should be able to approach their managers with ideas, concerns or feedback.


  • Encourage open communication. You can create multiple opportunities for employees to share ideas through meetings, surveys or by making an anonymous suggestion box.
